We are proud to announce the release of our third sustainable development report, a key step in our growing investment in environmental, social responsibility and governance issues.
Leading labels in recognition of our efforts
For the fourth consecutive year, GAMING1 was honored with the Top Employer certification, which rewards companies for their innovative HR practices that encourage both personal growth and professional development.
In 2024, this distinction was backed by particularly solid results:
- 92.26% for talent acquisition
- 87.69% for the integration of new employees
- 85.41% for remuneration and recognition
In addition to this HR distinction, we also received the EcoVadis silver medal for the third consecutive year for our overall ESG performance, a result that ranks us among the top-rated 9% of companies worldwide in terms of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).
2024: a year of consolidation and innovation
Last year was marked by concrete progress in every aspect of our ESG strategy. In terms of prevention, we formed new partnerships with Belgian universities to advance scientific research on mechanisms of addiction and to better understand the factors that can encourage healthier, more responsible gaming.
We also renamed our Responsible Gaming strategy as ROBIN (Risky Online Behavior Indicators), a set of AI-based tools to detect and prevent high-risk behaviors. ROBIN is a gaming companion that provides personalized and accessible recommendations tailored to each player’s activity to help them stay in control.
In terms of governance, we intensified our dialog with authorities and various stakeholders. We welcomed political and economic decision-makers to our offices to explain our work, our technologies and our vision for the industry – an important move in a changing Belgian context defined in part by the transfer of responsibility for games of chance from the Ministry of Justice to the Ministry of the Economy.

This ESG report marks a key turning point in GAMING1’s trajectory. It reflects an expanded commitment that’s set within a context of continuous progress for the benefit of our players, our staff members and our entire ecosystem.
In 2024, we concentrated our efforts on two priorities: social issues, with a particular focus on preventing high-risk behaviors, and governance, through increased dialog with decision-makers and a strong dedication to transparency. In a context where the role of ESG in corporate strategy is sometimes called into question, we choose to emphasize consistency and continuity.
This report is not an end in itself, but a tool. It marks out the path of an ambitious commitment, grounded in a powerful conviction that performance and responsibility must advance hand in hand.
