YOUR ROLE

You manage the accounting for a portfolio of Maltese companies.
You are responsible for the monthly and annual accounting closings of Maltese legal entities.
You are an active player in its fast-closing project.
You analyse and monitor balance sheet and P&L, including margin analysis.
You guarantee the accuracy of the analytical accounting.
You ensure proper account justification and documentation.
You ensure the compliance of Maltese accounts with legal and tax standards.
You prepare audit files and collaborate with external auditors.
You organize the reconciliation of intercompany accounts on a recurring basis.
You manage the Procure to Pay flow, including payment workflow.
You ensure good communication and transmission of information with the rest of the accounting team as well as the other departments in Malta and the HQ in Belgium.
Through accounting analysis, you assist the management of the Finance department in achieving its objectives and implementing its strategy.
You manage process optimization and accounting improvement projects.
You play an active role in the optimization of the ERP.

YOUR PROFILE

Bachelor's or master’s degree in accounting.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a large company (+50 people) as accountant. A first experience as auditor is an asset.
Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and taxation (VAT, Corporate Income Tax). IFRS will be considered as an asset.
Good knowledge of ERPs and advanced level in Excel. A knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
Fluent in English. Knowledge of French will be considered as an asset.
Good management of deadlines, highly organized and solution orientated.
Excellent communication skills.
Good resistance to stress and adaptability.
Knowledge and experience within the gaming industry will be considered an asset.
