THE SCOPE
With 30 years of history, today Gaming1 is one of the international leaders in both land-based and online games of chance (casino games, sports betting and poker). Its evolution at the heart of innovation is accompanied by a diversification and specialization of positions, with the creation of new cutting-edge jobs. As part of its sustained growth, Gaming1 is looking for a Data Analyst to join its Technology team.
Within the Lab, your mission is not to manage business as usual. Your playground lies upstream, where tomorrow’s opportunities emerge and where uncertainty needs to be reduced. The Lab explores complex and strategic topics for the company, transforming weak signals and hypotheses into structured business insights.
As a Data Analyst, you will work autonomously to transform data into actionable insights and business impact. By deeply analyzing player behaviors and complex datasets, you will help the organization understand underlying patterns, identify opportunities, and accelerate high-impact decision-making.
You will collaborate closely with Product, Operations, Strategy, and Data teams to bring analytical clarity to complex and ambiguous challenges.
YOUR ROLE
- Deep-dive into historical player behaviors and journeys to identify root causes of friction or value opportunities.
- Analyze complex, ambiguous, and transversal business issues to support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.
- Identify patterns and weak signals within existing datasets that have not yet been formalized by the organization.
- Translate business questions into structured analytical approaches using SQL queries, datasets exploration, and analytical frameworks.
- Create clear and impactful visualizations (Power BI dashboards, analytical frameworks, deep-dive SQL analyses) that make complex insights understandable to stakeholders.
- Act as a data partner for Product, Operations, and Strategy teams by helping translate their needs into actionable analyses.
- Ensure the transition of Lab discoveries to operational teams by transmitting a deep understanding of root causes rather than simply delivering numbers.
- Conduct exploratory analyses and long-term research to uncover insights that can shape the company’s future strategy. The scope
