As part of its sustained growth, Gaming1 is looking for a Platform Engineer to join its IT team
This position is part of the Gaming1 IT department, which designs, delivers, and operates technical solutions for all land-based establishments of the group (casinos, gaming halls, sports betting centers) as well as corporate functions such as Finance, Human Resources, Legal, and Compliance.
YOUR ROLE
You won’t just “maintain servers.” You will treat our internal platform as a premium product, empowering development teams across the organization to ship code faster, safer, and with confidence.
- Own the Platform: Design, evolve, and drive the roadmap of a secure, scalable, and resilient platform ecosystem supporting both retail and corporate use cases.
- Empower Builders: Create self-service capabilities and automation that simplify and accelerate developers’ daily work.
- Innovate & Evolve: Research new tools, implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and promote platform engineering best practices across IT.
- Protect & Serve: Ensure systems meet the highest standards of security, availability, and ethical responsibility, in line with regulatory, compliance, and player safety requirements.
YOUR PROFIL

- You are an Automator: You avoid manual repetition—if it can be scripted, you automate it.
- You are Linux & Container Native: You are comfortable in the shell and understand how Docker and modern containerization work under the hood.
- You are a Bridge Builder: You speak both “Ops” (stability, security, reliability) and “Dev” (velocity, features) and know how to connect them.
- You Care About Quality: You value clean implementations, solid documentation, and resilient systems that let teams sleep at night.
- English Proficiency: You can communicate technical concepts clearly in English (B2+).
