As part of its continued growth, Gaming1 is looking for a Responsible Gambling Analyst Student to join its Compliance team.
The Responsible Gambling Analyst is responsible for the operational monitoring, assessment and follow-up of at-risk players in their assigned market. Acting as an escalation point for Customer Service and Risk & Fraud, the Analyst applies Gaming1’s Responsible Gambling procedures and Duty of Care principles to ensure that player risk is identified, documented and addressed in a timely, consistent and player-protective manner.
The role is operational by design, focusing on case assessment, player interaction, monitoring tools, evidence and escalation. Governance, preventive design and strategic Responsible Gambling development remain within the scope of the Responsible Gambling Delegate, Responsible Gambling Advisor and management.
YOUR ROLE
1. Monitoring, analysis and management of at-risk players
Monitor players identified through RG tools, alerts and operational feedback
Analyse player behaviour and prepare structured case assessments
Establish operational risk levels and follow-up plans
Ensure follow-up of at-risk players according to procedures
2. Player contact and Duty of Care execution
Contact at-risk players following approved RG procedures
Ensure communication is empathetic, proportionate and protective
Apply intervention pathways (limits, guidance, referral)
Document all interactions and decisions
3. Operational escalation point
Act as escalation point for Customer Service and Risk & Fraud
Assess escalated cases and determine next steps
Provide operational guidance within defined procedures
Ensure traceability and consistency
Use RG tools, profiling software and dashboards
Monitor tool effectiveness and report issues
Provide feedback on markers, alerts and workflows
5. Reporting and documentation
Maintain accurate and auditable case documentation
Support reporting and evidence preparation
Ensure traceability for audits and reviews
6. Continuous improvement
Identify operational inefficiencies
Propose improvements in workflows and processes
Support implementation of approved improvements
7. Collaboration within RG cell
Work with Delegate, Junior Analysts and other teams
Share learnings across markets
Support consistent RG practices
8. Regulatory and Duty of Care alignment
Apply local RG procedures and regulations
Ensure alignment with Duty of Care principles
Respect data protection and confidentiality
Escalate regulatory or sensitive cases
3+ years experience in Responsible Gambling, Customer Service, Risk & Fraud or similar
Strong analytical and communication skills
Knowledge of RG principles and player protection
Understanding of local gambling regulations and GDPR
Comfortable with data tools and dashboards
Fluent English + market language
