Good news in London on 8 June 2023: For the first time, Gaming1 wins an award during the EGR Awards event.
The good news continues midway through 2023! On 8 June, the EGR Marketing & Innovation Awards ceremony took place in London which awards promising companies in the gaming industry. Gaming1 was in the running with four nominations in two categories: the B2B Awards with Employer of the Year and Safer Supplier and the Marketing and Innovation Awards with Best Sportsbook Marketing Campaign and Best Use of a Brand Ambassador.
It is with extreme pride that Gaming1 gained the award of Best Use of Brand Ambassador for its partnership with the legend Ronaldinho, its marketing campaign Time to Play and the Circus Cup, a free football match where football legends, including the famous Brazilian, took each other on. This award gives us great joy, as it demonstrates our commitment to continue working with incredible ambassadors in the sports industry to bring extraordinary experiences to our loyal audience. For Gaming1, the Circus Cup event with Ronaldinho was a chance to bring together the players and the public in a great atmosphere where joy, team spirit and support were the key words. We are also very proud to have been nominated for three other awards.
Our nomination for Employer of the Year is particularly special for Gaming1 as it demonstrates our commitment to maintaining a balanced and inspiring work environment where each of our staff members can thrive. This nomination is also the result of our wonderful employees who give their best every day to make Gaming1 a unique experience.
We were also in the running for the Safe Supplier award, which is a testament to our hard work to achieve ever more responsible gaming with the utmost respect for our players. This nomination was particularly important to us because at Gaming1, we make it a point of honor to make the safety of our players a priority. We have also created our own player protection tool that can detect the risks of addiction.
