As part of its sustained growth, Gaming1 is looking for a Freelance SEO Content Specialist to join its Marketing team.
As a SEO Content Specialist, you will optimise and enrich a high-value SEO content ecosystem aligned with the brand’s business priorities. You will contribute both strategically and operationally to increase the organic visibility of key pages, develop an editorial blog, and help define a scalable SEO content strategy.
YOUR ROLE
- Create and optimise SEO pillar pages aligned with business goals
- Develop a high-value editorial blog, including topic ideation, SEO-led writing or briefing, and integration
- Audit, review, and enrich existing content to improve relevance, structure, and search performance
- Create content for a new site section, including naming suggestions, structure, and SEO-first content drafts
- Draft a foundational content strategy document, including SEO editorial best practices, writing guidelines, and production/approval workflows
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- 3+ years experience in SEO content writing or editorial SEO roles
- Strong knowledge of on-page SEO fundamentals (meta data, structure, internal linking, search intent, etc.)
- Excellent writing and editing skills; able to write clearly, concisely, and with strategic focus
- Comfortable working autonomously and proposing strategic content direction, not just execution
- Familiar with SEO tools (SEMRush, Ahrefs, GSC, GA4, etc.)
- Native French speaker and very good knowledge of English
