As part of its sustained growth, Gaming1 is looking for a Solutions Architect to drive the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
This role combines hands-on technical leadership with architectural vision, ensuring that our software products meet business needs while adhering to enterprise standards and best practices. The ideal candidate will act as a mentor, a technology strategist, and a key contributor to solution delivery.
This position is within the Gaming1 department, which is responsible for delivering technical solutions for all land-based establishments of the group, including casinos, gaming halls, and sports betting centers. In addition, the department provides support to the group’s corporate functions such as Finance, Human Resources, Legal, and other support services.
YOUR ROLE
- Lead technical analysis, design, and architecture for new solutions or integrations
- Challenge and oversee technical implementations delivered by partners or internal teams
- Propose scalable, robust, and future-proof technical solutions aligned with enterprise standards and operational constraints
- Break down complex solutions into iterative deliverables for efficient delivery
- Ensure consistency, interoperability, and maintainability across developed solutions
- Anticipate and prepare for technological changes through continuous research and innovation
- Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and optimize development processes
- Define and maintain development guidelines, frameworks, and patterns
- Coach developers through peer programming and technical mentoring to enhance team capabilities
- Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) and collaborate with R&D to validate new ideas
- Contribute to CI/CD strategy and ensure smooth integration into release pipelines
- Support performance, security, and scalability considerations throughout the solution lifecycle
YOUR PROFILE
Technical Expertise
- Strong ability to work autonomously while engaging peers for validation and feedback.
- Deep understanding of software architecture principles and ability to design complex systems across multiple platforms.
- Deep expertise in developing business capability models, value streams, business processes, and customer journey mappings, aligned with Domain-Driven Design principles to support strategic decision-making.
- Expertise in Web Services and API design and review.
- Solid experience with messaging/event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency in CI/CD concepts.
- Hands-on experience with source control, build, and packaging tools.
- Advanced database modeling skills and ability to write optimized SQL queries.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals.
- Good understanding of security principles.
- Proven ability to manage large codebases and ensure performance optimization.
- Mastery of C# and .NET.
- Knowledge of platform engineering concepts is a plus.
