General Disclaimer
Gaming1 attaches great importance to transparency and the protection of personal data (hereinafter: "Data") and respects the privacy of candidates (hereinafter, "Candidates" or "you"). In order to inform you fully about how we process your Data, we have described in this privacy policy (hereinafter, the "Privacy Policy") the details of our practices in the context of the processing of Data collected through our recruitment channels, including our website: https://www.gaming1.com/fr/emplois (hereinafter, the "Site"), by the Gaming1 group and its constituent companies ("Gaming1", "we" or "us") for recruitment purposes.
Gaming1 processes Candidate Data in accordance with the legislation in force, and in particular Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter, the "GDPR").
Access to the Site and/or Gaming1's recruitment process implies the Candidate's full and unreserved acceptance of this Privacy Policy.
Data Controller
The Data of a Candidate may be processed by:
- The company of Gaming1 group that recruits for the concerned position (the "Recruiting Company"), as data controller for the processing necessary for the evaluation of the application and the hiring decision. The list of companies of Gaming1 group is set out in Appendix 1.

HQ1 SA, the central company of Gaming1 group, in capacity:
- as a subcontractor when it acts on behalf of a Recruiting Company in the context of the operational management of the recruitment process;
- as a data controller for the processing it implements for its own purposes, in particular the definition and supervision of the Group's HR policy, the management of a Group talent pool, intra-group mobility, as well as reporting and internal compliance.

What data do we process?
Gaming1 will process, for the purposes mentioned below, the following Data:
- identification and contact data such as your first and last name, nationality, photo (if provided), title, email address, date of birth, postal address, LinkedIn contact details or telephone number;
- data relating to your professional background such as your full CV, work experience, level of education and training, interests or language skills;
- data from the selection process such as interview notes, assessments, technical tests or psychological tests;
- communications between you and Gaming1.
Gaming1 processes the personal data that you provide directly to us, in particular via the application forms available on our Site, by post or by email.
This data may also be provided to us by partners such as recruitment agencies, temporary employment agencies or any other organisation active in the job search. In this case, we ensure that these partners have collected and transmit your data to us in accordance with the applicable legislation.
Finally, as part of the evaluation of applications and to the extent permitted by applicable regulations, Gaming1 may consult information about you that has been made public for professional purposes, including on professional social networks (such as LinkedIn) or on sites presenting your career path or professional achievements.
For what purposes do we use your Data and on what basis?
Candidates' Data is processed for the following purposes:

Managing and evaluating applications, arranging interviews and making hiring decisions.
Legal basis: the execution of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the Candidate. -
Administrative management of the recruitment process (planning, communication with the Candidate,
management of recruitment tools, internal reporting).
Legal basis: the legitimate interest of Gaming1 in organizing and optimizing their recruitment processes. -
Build and manage a talent pool for future opportunities, if required.
Legal basis: the legitimate interest of Gaming1 in identifying profiles corresponding to its future needs or, when required, the consent of the Candidate. -
Compliance with applicable legal obligations on employment and non-discrimination.
Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation. -
Responding to requests for information or exercising rights from Candidates.
Legal basis: the execution of pre-contractual measures or compliance with a legal obligation.
Is your Data shared?
Your Data may be disclosed to third parties with whom a contract has been entered into ("Data Processors").
The Data Processors we work with are subject to strict confidentiality rules and may not, without your consent, use your Data for any purpose other than those imposed on them by us.
Your Data is only communicated to our Data Processors in order to enable us to carry out part of the tasks provided for in this Privacy Policy. Your Data is not passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.
Gaming1 only transmits your Data to a country that is not a member of the European Economic Area (the European Economic Area is made up of the members of the European Union as well as Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein) when this country provides an adequate level of protection within the meaning of the legislation in force or within the limits permitted by the legislation in force, for example, by ensuring the protection of Data through appropriate contractual provisions.
What are your rights?
You have several rights regarding the processing of your Data. Gaming1 will do what is necessary to comply with your requests as soon as possible and in any event within one month of receipt of the request. If necessary, this period may be extended by two months, taking into account the complexity and number of applications.
In particular, you have the following rights:
- The right to be informed of the purposes of the processing and the identity of the data controller.
- Right to access and verify Data: You may at any time have access to the Data that Gaming1 has on you and/or check whether you are included in Gaming1's database.
- Right to object: You may object to the use of your Data by Gaming1 for recruitment purposes at any time.
- Right to deletion and/or modification: You may at any time inform Gaming1 of the corrections to be made to the Data and, if necessary, request the deletion of your Personal Data. Please note that if you are an employee or former employee of Gaming1, some of your Data must be kept for the following reasons: (i) for the proper performance of your employment contract; (ii) to enable us to comply with our legal retention obligations.
- Right to restriction of processing: In particular, you may obtain the restriction of the processing of your Data when you have objected to the processing, when you contest the accuracy of the Data, or when you consider that the processing is unlawful.
- Right to portability: You have the right to receive the Data that you have communicated to us directly and also to ask us to transmit this Data to another data controller.
- Right to object to automatic processing of Data: Some Data processing may be carried out without human intervention, in an automated manner. You have the right to object to this processing by justifying your request. Please note that your request may be refused for legitimate and compelling reasons.
You can exercise your rights by sending a request by post to the address: [email protected]. Following your request to exercise your rights, we may wish to verify your identity. This verification may require the transmission of additional data such as a copy of the identity card or a household composition.
Is your Data protected?
Gaming1 takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to guarantee the security of your Data.
Gaming1 therefore makes every effort to provide measures that prevent, as far as possible:
- unauthorized access to or modification of the Data. Only those persons who are supposed to have access to your Data in the course of their function have access to it;
- the improper use or disclosure of such Data;
- the unlawful destruction or accidental loss of such Data.
Continuous monitoring of our systems is also in place in order to prevent and deal with any external attack (hacking).
Finally, all Gaming1 employees with access to this Data are subject to a strict obligation of confidentiality. However, Gaming1 cannot be held liable in the event of misappropriation of all or part of this Data by a third party, despite the security measures adopted.
How long do we keep your Data?
Gaming1 keeps the Data of the Candidates for the duration necessary to achieve the purposes pursued (see point 4).
Candidate Data that is not selected during a recruitment process is kept in our databases for a limited period of time. During this period, we may contact you to inform you of new opportunities that match your profile.
